We are so excited to announce that our Holy Yoga classes will begin Monday, August 7th. The details of class offerings are listed below. Be sure to drop by our open house on Saturday, August 5th from 10:00 – 12:00. You’ll have the opportunity to meet Lisa, the instructor, check out our yoga studio, and sample a few healthy snacks.
If you are new to yoga and are looking for an exercise program that is non competitive and free from comparison, then this is your class. We start at the beginning by exploring proper breathing techniques, how yoga helps our posture and increases our flexibility, and why meditation is important to the practice of yoga.
Come with an open mind expecting to have fun and to leave more focused on having a healthier body, mind and spirit.
A new YOGA BASICS class begins the first Monday of each month and continues for 4 weeks. Please call our office at 770-737-5200 in order to register for this class. This class is available on Mondays and Thursdays at 9am and 5:45pm.
GENTLE FLOW YOGA
This class is the natural progression from the Yoga Basics Class. (If you are already practicing yoga then you are welcome to start taking this class.)
GENTLE FLOW moves slowly into basic yoga poses while using breathing techniques to both lengthen the muscles and gain better posture. There will be plenty of stretching that leads to better mobility. We will also practice balance poses that encourage core strength. This class ends with relaxation and meditation focusing on God’s goodness to us.
Come join us as we continue to develop our yoga practice. No registration needed for the GENTLE FLOW class. This class is available on Mondays and Thursdays at 7:00pm.
GENERAL CLASS INFO- Dress comfortably and bring some water. If you have a yoga mat then that’s great, but if not we have them available. The fee for all classes is based on donation only. All classes are held directly above Bruce Chiropractic in an area we call “The Attic”. To access “The Attic”, simply enter the door to the right of our office and follow the stairs to the top. The double doors to the left will take you into the yoga studio.
